1. Terms and Conditions Relating to Website Design

1.1 Our guarantee to you
We appreciate that having a website designed can be a major and important step for anyone in terms of making a personal or professional statement and that it is important to you that you are happy with final product. Our guarantee to you is that we will work very closely to your ideas and wishes until you are 100% satisfied with your website. We also want your experience with us to be an enjoyable one, and we will make every effort to ensure that this be so.

1.2 About the website text content
All texts for your website are to be written by you and provided to us in a timely fashion as Word documents or similar - hand-written texts can not be accepted. We will spell-check and grammar-check your texts but we are not responsible for the correctness of the content. All text is thereby copyrighted to you.

1.3 About the website images
You can provide us with specific images for your website or we will source relevant images in an online image library. You images made by and supplied by you will remain copyrighted to you. Images from an online image library might have specific copyright requirements. Cost of images from online image libraries will be included in the final invoice for the website design. If you agree at the time of submitting the contract to supply us with images for you website then you must supply these images to us in a timely fashion as TIF, JPEG, GIF, or other popular format and these images must be of a good quality. Images you supply us with should usually be no less than 500 pixels wide. Image that we source from an online image library will be obtained at cost and will be charged to you as an addition to the website design.

1.4 About the website layout and appearance
We will work closely with you on your website until you are 100% satisfied with the final product. We will have an initial discussion with you to establish the basic concept of your website. We will then develop a framework for that design and submit it to you for approval. Once you are satisfied with the framework design we will put in the texts and images and submit to you a first draft. You advise us of any changes needed and we will alter the design accordingly. This process will repeat until you are 100% satisfied with the website. Because we design the layout of the website we retain copyright of the layout and of the programming behind the layout.

1.5 About additional design work
As the design of the website progresses it is natural that you might want to add further functionality to your website. Once you have submitted the online contract any additional work will be added to the final costing according to our standard pricing schedule which can be found here.

1.6 About additional costs
Should it be necessary for us to include into your website additional elements not included in the online contract then we will contact you first to obtain your authorisation for these costs which will then be added to the final cost of the website. Items that might be charged at extra include but are not limited to:
. images obtained from an online image library
. forum membership and set-up charges
. custom scripts

1.7 About payment for the website
Once you have submitted the online contract form and authorised us to design your website you have entered into a legal agreement with us. Upon completion of the website we will ask you to sign an online acceptance form which is also a legal document. You then have 30 days in which to make full payment to us as per the online contract form. The online acceptance form will have the total amount owing for the website design and will include any additional charges incurred during construction of the website such as purchasing additional images from an online image library. If we do not receive payment within 30 days of the date of invoice we will utilise standard legal methods of retrieving payment.

2 Terms and Conditions Relating to Domain Name Purchase

2.1 Buying domain names through us
We provide a domain name registration service and can offer a number of options. You can have us act as technical contact on your domain name, administration contact or we can hold the domain name on your behalf. Please ask us for more details when purchasing a domain name through us.

2.2 Payment for domain names
When you purchase a domain name through us you are the owner of the domain name (although we maybe the agent as per 2.1) unless you request otherwise. Payment is due at the time of purchase or within 30 days depending upon the contract. In either case you will be notified by us of the period of ownership of the domain name. The period of ownership of a domain name is nominally two years but can be only one year and can be more that this upon request.

2.3 Renewal of domain names

We will notify you within one month of the expiry of your domain name registration. You must then contact us and make payment to renew the domain name if you wish to remain the owner of the domain name. Should you not renew the domain name registration when it is due you will lose ownership of the domain name, the name will then be placed in the marketplace and will possibly be purchased by another party.

2.4 Disclaimer of liability
We will notify you of renewal dates for your domain name registration but we are not responsible for renewing it. We will only renew your domain name if you explicitly request us to do so in writing (reply to our email notice is adequate notice). If you do not reply to our email or letter notifying you of the renewal due, we will not renew your domain name and you will likely lose that domain name. We are not liable for loss of your domain name or for any losses incurred by you as a result of the loss of your domain name.

3 Terms and Conditions Relating to Website Hosting

3.1 Website hosting options
We provide a wide range of options for website hosting depending upon website file size and upload/download usage. Please contact us for more information about this.

3.2 Hosting for databased websites
Dynamic websites - those that use an online database - require additional hosting services. This application server interprets PHP and MYSQL commands and provide the database hosting. For this reason hosting for a database website is more expensive than for a standard non-database website. Please contact us for more details of prices for website hosting.

3.3 Renewal of website hosting accounts
We will notify you within one month of the expiry of your website hosting account. You must then contact us and make payment to renew the hosting if you wish to keep your website presence. Should you not renew the hosting account when it is due your website will be removed from the internet.

4 Terms and Conditions Relating to Website Administration

4.1 Website administration
We offer a range of after-sales website administration packages to cater for the demands of your particular website. Once payment has been received you can utilise this service according to the schedule itemised in the online payment order.

4.2 What is not included
Any item not explicitly included in the online payment order listing is not included in the website administration. We are flexible on this and are happy to work with you on maintaining the appearance and functionality of your website. Any items not covered by the website administration list we are happy to quote you a price for.
